Applications for the annual KiwiSport's KickStart Fund and Skilled Deliverers Fund are now open.
KiwiSport is a Government-funded initiative to promote sport for school-aged children.
The Regional Partnership Fund is co-ordinated by Sport Bay of Plenty for use in Bay of Plenty communities.
Sport Bay of Plenty co-ordinate an annualcontestable funding round for sporting and community organisations, and schools to apply for investment through the fund.
The KickStart Fund is available in each of the three sub regions for 'smaller' initiatives. Up to $2000, for initiatives which help achieve KiwiSport objectives.
The priority will be given to initiatives that reduce inequalities or show innovation.
The Skilled Deliverers Fund is for up to $15,000 for new initiatives, or current initiatives that are expanding into new areas, to develop skilled deliverers like referees, officials, umpires, event managers and teachers.
