The winner of Saturday's cross-country horse race at Pawarenga - the biggest attraction at the annual United Marae Sports Day - filmed the action with a GoPro camera attached to her helmet. You can watch here as Sapphire O'Connell and her horse Rusty, from Broadwood, race over beach, up and down hills, through scrub, on metal roads, through a swamp and finally back on the beach to the finish line. Video by Sapphire O'Connell.
