She'll be leaving the Audrey Hepburn velvet at home but it will still be Breakfast at Ashleigh's at Cafe Narnia. The cafe is one of 16 venues in and around Whangarei holding Tasty Breakfasts tomorrow as fundraisers for North Haven Hospice. A portion of the proceeds from each cafe breakfast will bedonated to hospice. Ashleigh says she approached the hospice about hosting a breakfast after the inaugural event last year. "We took part last year and it was wonderful, we had a full house. I would advise everyone to book a table because space will be tight." Cafes and restaurants in Whangarei, Ngunguru, Tutukaka, Parua Bay and Waipu will take part. It is up to each cafe how much it chooses to donate. North Haven Hospice's Ros Martin said last year's event - which raised around $5000 - was a great success and tomorrow was set to be even better as more venues were involved. She said she was particularly pleased to see cafes in outlying areas joining in, as the hospice cared for people all over the district. And just because Ashleigh is putting her Audrey Hepburn outfit back in the cupboard doesn't mean she won't be dressing up for breakfast tomorrow. "It's our normal dress-up Friday," she said. "Everyone who comes in theme gets a free coffee. This week it's corporate-theme. I'll be dressing as the editor of Vogue fashion magazine, so watch out, it's my chance to be critical of what you're wearing!" Other venues hosting Tasty Breakfasts are Bob, Caffeine, Fresh, Tempt, Dickens Inn, Parua Bay Caf?, Refuel, Soda, LA Caf?, Salt Air, Oceans Hotel, Schnappa Rock, Robert Harris in The Strand, Mokaba, and Waipu Deli and Caf?. Greens, at the Ngunguru Sports Centre, is holding one on Saturday.
