We are looking for a qualified counsellor to work with women and children who have experienced violence and abuse. This one year fixed term position requires the applicant to have significant counselling experience, understandings of the dynamics of abuse and violence and its effect on women and children,working understandings of feminist models and practices, the ability to work in a team environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The applicant will be a member of NZAC and preferably be an ACC ISSC Provider or be willing to work towards this. Due to our client base this role would best suit female applicants.
PROGRAMME FACILITATORS
We are looking for male and female facilitators to contract with to deliver Healthy Relationship Programmes in schools. Applicants must have: An understanding of sexual violence • Experience delivering prevention/content material • Experience facilitating/presenting to young people • Experience dealing with diverse cultural contexts
