Position Summary:
The Assistant House Manager could work at any TTEHCT Emergency Housing property and be available on the basis of mutual agreement with TTEHCT management to cover the House Managers when they are on their weekend breaks. Cover may also be required when the House
Managers are on annual leave. This role includes a voluntary overnight stay where accommodation is made available. Understanding and promoting principles of social justice are also core requirements of the role.
Skills and Knowledge:
Experience in building personal relationships and in particular conflict management/de-escalation
■Ability to respect and relate to people from different cultures & backgrounds
■Able to use relevant computer software programmes
■Communication and listening skills.
■Experience in working with small teams, especially within the community social service sector
