The Miriam Centre is a not-for-profit Charitable Trust, established in 1988 providing counselling, therapy, social work, for children, young people,
adults, families and communities who are struggling with some of life's most difficult issues, trauma, abuse, violence, substance abuse, behaviours
harmful of others and the underlying issues.

We are based in Whangarei, but providing our intensive wrap-around services throughout Te Taitokerau

Our long-serving, long-suffering Administrator is retiring and we are needing to replace her.

The successful applicant will be:
Experienced in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel;
Collection, collation and reporting of statistical data;
Have an understanding of computerized financial and data systems;
Able to liaise with contract managers;
Have a pleasant telephone manner;
Able to support distressed clients and those in crisis;
Aware and comfortable with the sensitive nature of our work;
Enthusiastic to be part of a very busy, committed, but fun team of colleagues; energetic, hardworking and be able to thrive in this difficult field;
Have a clean driving license and
Happy to work throughout Northland.

The successful applicant will be subject to Police vetting and reference checking.
