Fancy yourself as another Daniel Carter or Israel Dagg in the goalkicking department?
If so, then the Air New Zealand Biggest Boot competition is a must. If the answer is "possibly", then the prize pack is bound to twist your arm.
The winner of the national final will win returnairfares for two to London departing in November and returning in December, accommodation for three nights in London, access to the All Blacks Captain's Run at Twickenham the day before the December 1 test against England, two tickets to the test and two Air New Zealand European Tour All Blacks training shirts.
The nationwide competition is running as part of the ITM Cup. And the Hawke's Bay regional qualifiers will be held on Saturday.
From 10am, qualifying to find Hawke's Bay's top 10 will be held at Tremain Field, Park Island.
The top 10 will then kick at McLean Park before the Magpies' crossover match against Otago to find the Hawke's Bay finalist. Each of the 10 finalists will win two tickets to the Magpies game.
The Hawke's Bay winner will fly to Christchurch for the national finals on October 14.
Hawke's Bay Rugby Football Union's commercial manager, Jay Campbell, said the competition was open to anyone apart from those who had played provincial rugby at senior level.
"Obviously it would appeal to club rugby goalkickers who have yet to play for the Magpies. It isn't a kick for goal competition but a distance kick from a place kick which is measured from where the ball first lands," he said.
