Hawke's Bay kayaker Aimee Fisher won three gold medals at the Oceania championships in Sydney at the weekend.
The 17-year-old Karamu High School year 13 student won the K1 500m title in her under-18 age group from fellow Kiwi Danielle Currie.
Fisher beat Aussie Jessica Fox by one second in her K1 200m final with a time of 45.60s.
Fisher combined with Currie, Kim Thompson and Rebecca Cole to win the under-18 K4 500m title.
This team was strong all the way down the course and displayed the class of a much older crew.
