The Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce presents the Wellness Conference, a full-day conference, highlighting the importance of overall health and wellbeing within the workplace.

The Hawke's Bay Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that the 2021 Wellness Conference will be held on Wednesday, 2nd June at Napier Conferences & Events, operating from the Napier War Memorial Centre on Marine Parade.

After our inaugural 2020 conference, which attracted over 300 attendees, we gained some valuable feedback;

"A fantastic day, great food and venue ." "Excellent varied speakers." "Highly motivating and valuable."

With the insights learned from 2020, this year's conference will be more prominent, more significant, and better.

The most valuable asset is an organisation's employees, and prioritising wellness, helps create a happier, healthier workplace, boosting productivity and morale, and reduces absenteeism.

Stress, lack of exercise, poor diet choices, and generally "not stopping" can have damaging effects on one's mind, body, and soul; this can lead to poor sleep patterns and general health issues down the track!

The World Health Organization defines wellness as a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity. Today, all dimensions of wellness are interrelated and crucial to a fulfilling life.

The Wellness Conference lineup this year is impressive! And we are delighted to welcome Dr Alex Bartle, an international sleep expert who will look at the importance sleep plays on everyday life, Denise Quinlan, a wellness strategist and celebrity chef Simon Gault, who will join the conference discussing his journey of managing diabetes and how he maintains this health and wellbeing after being told that he may not live to see his daughter walk down the aisle. Not only that, local Korrin Barrett, our MC, will share her health story throughout the day.

The day also includes a wellness expo of local providers across all fields, juicing demo thanks to Gretta from Hapi, a chance to win a juicer thanks to Noel Leeming., multiple power sessions that you can pick from, highlighting concerns we face every day within the workplace, and so much more.

By attending the conference, you, your team members, and colleagues will benefit by increasing your Wellness toolbox to share both at home and in the workplace.

For under $220, you not only get to attend this jammed-packed full-day conference but also get a bag stuffed with goodies kindly supplied by our expo stall holders, and everyone goes in the draw to win prizes valued in the thousands.
