Eastern and Central Community Trust has approved donations for Hawke's Bay totalling $228,000. The largest, $25,000, goes to the Alzheimer's Society in Napier, which receives six referrals every month.
A $20,000 donation went to Kia Toa Bowling Club. More donations included Waipawa Primary School, $9000, Flaxmere College, $5000; Volunteering Hawke's Bay, $8000; and Creative Napier, $4000.
