Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy.
We list 13 of the best on offer this weekend.

1. Seaweek 2017
There are a range of Seaweek 2017 events both today and tomorrow.
There will be a Beach Cleanup at both Waitangi Regional Park,
around the mouth of the Ngaruroro River near Awatoto and at Cape Kidnappers.
Other activities include a children's day at the National Aquarium of New Zealand, a mural tour, and a library program. Register for each event.

2. Ovation NZ - 2017 Go Kidz Triathlon - Race 2
The Go-Kidz Triathlon Series is a participation-focused event designed for primary aged children and is broken into three school year categories (Yr3&4, Yr5&6, Yr7&8) and can be completed as an individual or within a team.
This is the second race of three and will be located at Sherwood School - RD 1, Takapau.

3. Made in Wairoa

5. Magpie Market at Meeanee - Antiques, Collectibles
The Antiques, Collectibles & Craft Market is held on the first Saturday of every month and offers numerous craft and collectible stalls, along with clothing, foodstuffs, jewellery and more.

6. International Cultures Day
This is Hawke's Bay biggest international celebration and a great outing for the whole family.

8. Relay for Life - Hawke's Bay 2017
Relay For Life is an inspiring community event that gives everyone a chance to celebrate cancer survivors and carers, remember loved ones lost to cancer and fight back by raising awareness and funds to support the work of Cancer Society.
Teams set up camp and take turns relay style walking/running around a track while enjoying a carnival atmosphere of live music, entertainment, games, food stalls, actives and fantastic community spirit.

12. PSEC Celebration 2017
Enjoy a champagne high tea in the garden, whilst enjoying classical music. The heritage and history of this long-established, local charity will be a feature of this wonderfully refined afternoon. There will also be raffles and a silent auction.
Attire is smart. Men and ladies to wear wonderful hats.
All funds raised will go to support Presbyterian Support East Coast's vital social services.
