Save WET FEET: The tide came over the walkway this morning.
A ramble along the walkway at Pandora estuary in Napier would have resulted in very wet feet at high tide this morning.
At its peak at about 9.20am, the king tide saw the inlet awash in tidal water, following a very low tide the previous evening.
The Clive River was
also higher than usual this morning.
The high tide of 3.6m peaked at 9.20am, the MetService said.
Today's king tide comes after the largest supermoon for almost 70 years.
