A big yarding of 1000 head of cattle sold strongly to a big bench of buyers at yesterday's store stock sale at Stortford Lodge.
The yarding was of good quality. Sheep prices were on a par with last week, with some lines of small lambs going cheaply. One pen of 3 and 4-year romney ewes made $157.

Prime saleCattle prices remained strong but ewe prices continued their easing of the past few weeks at Monday's prime sale.
Demand for new-season lambs remained strong but hoggets with lambs' teeth eased slightly. There was a big yarding of 6210 sheep on offer and 132 cattle.
