One Hawke's Bay local is a $250,000 richer after winning Lotto's First Division on Saturday night.
The winning ticket was purchased at Countdown Hastings and was claimed at Countdown Napier yesterday.
The $2 million prize is shared with three other winners who bought their tickets at St Lukes Lotto in Auckland, EdenSuperette and Lotto in Glen Eden and Pak'n'Save Moorhouse in Christchurch.
This is Hawke's Bay's fifth first division win this year, and the second this month after a ticket bought at the Raureka Lotto and Superette won a $500,000 share last weekend.
Lotto winners have brought more than $20 million into the region in the last six months, including a $17.7 million win in Dannevirke in April.
