Hawke's Bay farmers to meet

Two meetings will be held in Northern Hawke's Bay tomorrow for farmers to discuss a Beef+Lamb NZ proposal for the area's first Monitor Farm Project.
The meetings will be held at the Waikare Cafe at 10am and at the Frasertown Tavern at 2pm.
Eastern North Island extension manager Mark Harris said the consultation meetings were being held to help decide the format of the monitor farm programme delivery in the Wairoa District and south to the Napier-Taupo road.
It was the first time the area had been offered funding for a programme specifically for that area.
