Police are warning people to drive to the conditions after car crashes in Central Hawke's Bay at the weekend.
A car left the road on State Highway 2 at Takapau at 12.30am on Saturday and struck a pole.
A motorist failed to stop and skidded into two vehicles waiting for another vehicle
to cross a one-way bridge on Sunday afternoon.
No injuries resulted from any of the crashes.
Also in Central Hawke's Bay, a length of timber was thrown through a window at BNZ Waipukurau early Saturday.
A person attempted to steal a car at a residential address in Porangahau Road overnight on Friday. The driver's window was smashed and an attempt made to start the car.
One of the greens was damaged at the Takapau Golf Club and soap squirted over the building on Friday.
If anyone has any information about the above crimes, please phone the Waipukurau police.
