A 29-year-old male who received a severe head injury after a brawl outside a Napier bar has woken from a drug-induced coma, police said yesterday.
The man was knocked unconscious outside Sideline Bar in Onekawa on August 2. He was transferred to Wellington Hospital, but it is understood the man was transferred to Hawke's Bay Hospital last week. He is listed in a stable condition.
Christopher Siuloa, 20, a labourer from Maraenui, will appear in court on August 25 on charges related to the incident.
