It is not every day you see Zoro, Santa Claus or a clown biking around town, but you may have sighted one or all of those things in Hastings this week.
The outfits are not a prank - they are part of the Hastings District Council's iWay campaign.
Every morning from Monday to Friday, a costumed cyclist takes to the streets on a bike from 7.30am to 8.30am.
The bright and daring outfits aim to make motorists more aware of cyclists on Hastings roads.
iWay team leader Owen Mata said: "With fuel prices the way they are we have definitely noticed people cycling a lot more now.
"So, we want to make sure we are doing something so cars look out for them, and we wanted to do it in a fun way."
To add to the excitement there are 10 new bikes up for grabs if you spot the mystery cyclist and text 4487 with the name of the costumed character you saw to Martin and Sarah on Classic Hits who will put you in the draw.
The promotion ends tomorrow.
