Without fail, more than half the class will point to me, which I find just slightly offensive as Martin is over 10 years my senior.
We also ask them a question and record their answers to be played back on our radio show the next day.
The questions vary from week to week, from "Who's the worst snorer in your house?" to "What do you think your teacher does when's she's not in class?"
One teacher was particularly horrified by the answers to that last one when her class responded with things like "Thinks about how she's going to punish us" and "Talks about how much she hates us". Teaching, what a job!
Last week we were visiting a class of eight and nine-year-olds and the subject of the election in the United States came up.
Realising that these kids had a quite a good grasp on the election and who the candidates were we asked them "If you were able to vote in the presidential election, who would you vote for and why?"
Every single child in the class said they'd vote for Hillary Clinton, with reasons varying from "Because Donald Trump is an egg" to "Because I don't want another boy president" and "Donald Trump doesn't like babies".
But our favourite answer came from a sweet little girl who proclaimed she wanted Hillary to win because "I've been told that Donald Trump is going to build a wall between Africa and New Zealand."
Not sure how Mr Trump would pull that off, but after being voted in as the 45th president of the USA, nothing would surprise me now.
