Corrin had a better day, although she, too, has dropped back in the women’s standings to eighth.
She made it through the first eliminator but could not get through the second to make the women’s final. She finished ninth.
Kiwi compatriot Danielle McKenzie finished the day in third place on the leaderboard.
Like Taylor and Corrin, she competes for the Northcliffe club in Queensland.
In the men’s championship race, Ali Day was unstoppable. He continued his unbeaten streak, which now stands at nine wins from his last nine Nutri-Grain Series races.
In the women’s race, Northcliffe’s Harriet Brown took the top spot, with defending champion Lana Rogers and New Zealander McKenzie rounding out the podium.
Round 4 was held today with athletes competing in the super sprint format.
