EVERY week, Gisborne Herald photographers are out and about capturing images of people at work and at play.
Nearly every publishing day, high-quality pictures do not make it into the paper due to lack of space.
Sub-editors keep photocopies of the images on their desks in the hope of finding
some way to use them before the events they illustrate fade from memory.
