No new Covid-19 cases here today

The latest death, along with the news of six new cases of Covid-19 in New Zealand, were revealed at the government's daily Covid-19 press conference today by Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield.

The woman was in her 80s and from the Rosewood rest home cluster in Christchurch where seven others have died. She is the fourteenth person in New Zealand to die from the coronavirus.

Tairawhiti has had four confirmed and probable cases since the pandemic began.
