Today was Purple Day at Top Kids in Judea the child care centre Sativa Eagle's siblings go to and that she sometimes visited before she passed away a week ago.

Centre manager Rachel Blylevens said she and Sheree Roose, mother of twins Sativa and Indee, spent yesterday evening covering the place in purple - Sativa's favourite colour.

Purple flowers, purple glitter, purple streamers, purple craft, purple jelly, purple cupcakes, purple clothes and even purple hair turned the day into a celebration of Sativa's short life.
