A new radio station is set to launch in Tauranga.
As a result of the changing demographics of audiences in New Zealand, NZME, which also publishes the Bay of Plenty Times, has taken a fresh look at their portfolio of stations within each market.
Here in Tauranga, this means launching
a new station. From tomorrow,MIX will broadcast on 99FM, replacing Flava.
MIX fuses classic bangers from the 70s, 80s and 90s, hosted by Mel Homer.
Content director David Brice said: "MIX has been a real audience success story in other regional locations such as Northland and Nelson, and we hope to replicate that success in Tauranga".
