Events in Tauranga will now be promoted throughout New Zealand on a new website as a result of a partnership between Tauranga City Council and established events website, Eventfinda.
Civic Events Team Leader, Penny Mitropoulos says they hope to make Tauranga events more accessible to a wider audience, so local
event planners can gain national visibility.
"Eventfinda is New Zealand's biggest online events calendar and they also supply event information to a number of other high profile national websites, so it made sense for us to partner with them. The collaboration means that event promoters, organisers, venues and artists no longer need to 'double handle' their event information. They can list their events for free on our site and the information is published across both sites and throughout Eventfinda's extensive network. But the main thing is, it looks great and is easy to use for the customer," said Penny.
