Blake's daughter engaged in Bay

The daughter of legendary Kiwi yachtsman Sir Peter Blake will never forget her weekend in Tauranga after her partner and skipper of Lion New Zealand proposed to her on White Island.
The 26-year-old, whose father, Sir Peter Blake, was killed by pirates in Brazil in 2001, has known her future husband Alistair Moore for 10 years.
Mr Moore is skipper on  Kiwi yacht Lion New Zealand, built and skippered by Sir Peter in the Sydney to Hobart race in 1984 and the Round the World Whitbread Race in 1985/86.
The prestigious boat was in Tauranga Harbour and open for viewing by the public yesterday as part of a nationwide regional tour.
