A man has been arrested following a brawl that left a man with serious head injuries in Gate Pa last week.
The 47-year-old was said to be injured in a fight between two groups of people in Kent St. Screams were heard coming from down the road before the fight took
place about 8.30pm.
A 29-year-old man was charged with unlawful assembly in relation to the incident. He joined three others arrested on the same charge.
Tauranga Detective Sergeant Eddie Lyttle said the investigation into the brawl was continuing and further charges were likely.
