A Polish dentist is facing possible jail time, after she pulled out all her ex-boyfriend's teeth out after he dumped her for another woman.

Anna Mackowiak, 34, said she tried to be professional when 45-year-old Marek Olszewski turned up at her surgery complaining of a toothache, "but when I saw him lying there I just thought, 'What a b******'," the Daily Mail reported her as saying.

Ms Mackowiak gave her former lover, who had broken it off with her only days earlier, a heavy dose of anaesthetic and removed all his teeth. She told him there had been complications and he would need to see a specialist, and bandaged his head and jaw to stop him from opening his mouth.

The toothless Mr Olszewski however knew something was wrong because when he woke up he could not feel his teeth.

"She told me my mouth was numb and I wouldn't be able to feel anything for a while and that the bandage was there to protect the gums, but that I would need to see a specialist," he told the Daily Mail.

Mr Olszewski said he thought his former girlfriend was professional and had no reason to doubt her.

"But when I got home I looked in the mirror and couldn't f****** believe it. The b**** had emptied my mouth."

He said his new girlfriend has since left her as "she can't be with a man without teeth", and said he will now have to get indents to replace his missing teeth.

Ms Mackowiak is being investigated for malpractice and abusing the trust of a patient and faces a up to three years in jail.
