Northwest Airlines Flight 59 picked up an extra passenger yesterday on its way from the Netherlands to the United States. An airport spokesman in Boston said a woman gave birth to an apparently healthy baby girl during the eight-hour flight from Amsterdam. The mother's nationality was not known but the baby was considered a Canadian citizen for now because she was born in Canada's airspace.
