Some of New Zealand's sporting heroes will take part in a fundraiser for Wanganui Collegiate School's cricketers.
Sir Graham Henry will be the speaker for the event, which will be held at Wanganui Collegiate on September 23. There will also be a Q&A panel of some of New Zealand's top cricketers.
The event is a fundraiser to help 14 of the school's promising young male cricketers travel to the West Indies in December and January.
The travelling team will be made up of those players who will try out for the First XI in 2018. The tour has been organised by former ICC Americas manager Wendell Coppin, former West Indies cricketers Franklyn Stephenson and Desmond Haynes, and former New Zealand cricketers Jeff Crowe and Mark Greatbatch.
The team will play nine games on a 17-day tour.
