It was the show that had viewers gasping for more when it first aired in the United States.
Bravo's Yes To The Dress: Atlanta is the southern gal Gorgeous Gussie show with big gowns, big hair, big "y'all" accents and yet there ain't nothing to it.
Really it was frocks, frocks and more frocks. All white, creamish, beaded, tinseled and sequined.
Set in a midtown bridal salon - the best in the south we're told - where all the southern belle brides-to-be (BTB) turn up with their family groups. Trailing along is mom, dad, cuzzies, gramps and granny, sisters, brothers ... I'm amazed the family pooches weren't trotted in as well.
It's all strictly by appointment, no sashsaying through the doors on the off-chance.
No bargain frocks here, it's all posh, shiny and designer.
