Local Shanton store has closed after the national chain has again gone into receivership.
The women's fashion chain was established over 37 years ago.
McGrath Nicol Receiver, Andrew Grenfell, says the company went into receivership on December 7, 2016.
With no buyer interest the Whanganui shop remained open over the busy Christmas period and shut its doors last weekend with the loss of five local employees.
Mr Grenfell says the receivers are working to establish the amount of debt owed to all creditors of the company.
