Pug, the pop-up gallery that opened in Marton a week ago, has some serious attitude that will appeal to art lovers.
Lining the walls and arrayed on displays is work from 23 local artists. From paintings and drawings to fabric art, pottery, sculptures and jewellery the shop is chocka with mesmerising wares. This group project means that all the artists take turns at running the shop which is open until December 23.
Fiona Graham and Desiree Singer hope the shop will continue on after that and become a permanent gallery in the town.
Fiona said they describe the artists exhibited as "underground artists"
"They're not the known artists which makes it all the more fascinating" she said.
In their opening week they took $3124 with 393
people visiting the gallery.
