Anika Moa will touch down in Wanganui this Friday for a one-night-only performance on her Queen at the Table album tour, supported by Sean Donnelly aka SJD.
Moa, who first burst on to the charts in 2001 at age 21 with her debut album Thinking Room, is taking a short break from the 16-date tour, which she says has been "phenomenal."
"It has been such a great tour, and we have had sell-out crowds at all the venues so far.
"There has been an amazing woman from Sydney who brought along a disco-ball kind of glittery backdrop that we've had on stage."
Moa says the tour, which has so far taken in Whangarei and seven South Island shows since the start of September, has been full-on.
