Two people are facing drugs charges after a police drug bust uncovered thousands of dollars' worth of drugs at a Masterton flat.

About $10,000 worth of methamphetamine, $4000 of cannabis and a substantial amount of cash was seized when Masterton police raided a Lincoln Rd flat on Monday.

A 55-year-old Masterton man is facing a raft of drugs charges, including possession for supply of methamphetamine and cannabis, two counts of possessing drug utensils and one count of obstruction.

A 25-year-old Masterton woman has been charged with possessing cannabis.

Detective Sergeant Dean Cadwallader said property believed to be stolen in burglaries had also been found at the flat.

"We are still making inquiries and further arrests could be coming and further charges could be laid."

Monday's raid was part of an ongoing investigation, Mr Cadwallader said.

The man has been remanded in custody until May 26.

The woman has been remanded on bail until her next appearance in court, which was scheduled for this morning.
