Celebrities are just like us - they even use Airbnb to find holiday accommodation.
However, if you're Mariah Carey, your choice of residence is likely to be out of the average price range.
For the Italian leg of her Sweet Fantasy Tour, the elusive chauntese rented an 18th century mansion on Lake Como - just ten minutes away from the home of George Clooney.
Available for rent on Airbnb at a staggering $ 17,511 a night, the Villa Napoleon I has all the essential features fitting of a diva - including Murano chandeliers, a private dock, 11 working fountains and a 12th century bell tower.
The stately eight-bedroom villa was once home to the great opera composer Vincenzo Bellini and offers stunning views of Lake Como.
"Soaring ceilings, symmetrical layouts and elaborate moldings and frescoes make the interiors of Villa Napoleon I stately and traditional," the listing boasts. "In the double-height music room, an antique piano and tufted sofas sit under pale peach walls and a second-floor gallery.
"Other sitting rooms feature a marble fireplace and mahogany bar, and fresh flowers from the estate's garden provide a finishing touch."
The Heartbreaker hitmaker posted several photos on Instagram during her stay, which show her lounging around the villa in a silky white negligee.
Other photos showed her daughter Monroe playing dress-ups in the house.
Carey even gave a shoutout to the accommodation hire service, writing "This gorgeous #LakeComo stay was a #SweetSweetFantasy, courtesy of @airbnb!"
Unfortunately for most of us, a weekend away at the Villa Napoleon I is likely to remain a sweet, sweet fantasy.
