Brian Okam of the Appalachian State Mountaineers produced a lowlight of the basketball year in the weekend with one of the worst free throws ever seen.
Standing at the line against Western Carolina University, the seven-foot Nigerian's attempt looped in the air before falling less than halfway to the basket.
"Second free throw...my goodness," said the game's commentator Kyle Rush.
"I'm not sure what that was. Good Lord," added fellow commentator Phillip Jackson.
Appalachian State lost the game 70-64 and have won just one of their opening eight games this season.
The YouTube clip of the miss has attracted more than 2.7 million views since it went live in the weekend.
