KEY POINTS:
New Zealand's Daniel King-Turner and GD Jones are through to their second consecutive doubles final together after their seventh straight win in Japan last night.
King-Turner has continued his fine singles form as well, and is through to the singles semifinals in the same tournament.
The pair are playing at a Futures ITF tournament in Japan, en route to the Davis Cup round two tie in Kuwait, where they will be joined by teammates Mark Neilson and Rubin Statham, as well as captain James Greenhalgh and manager Alistair Hunt.
King-Turner and Jones were too good for the Japanese pair Toshiharu Kato and Yuichi Sugita, winning 6-3 6-3.
They will meet a Chinese combination of Mao-xin Gong and Zhe Li Zhe in tonight's final.
King-Turner beat Japan's Yuichi Ito 6-4 6-2 in the singles quarterfinal and will play Korean Jae-Sung for a place in the final.
Statham retired with injury in the quarterfinals at the Victorian Hardcourt AMT tournament in Melbourne after consecutive 6-0 6-0 wins in rounds three and four.
However he is expected to recover and play in the Davis Cup next weekend in Kuwait.
Oliver Statham, meanwhile, has continued his good form as well. He is through to the quarterfinals in Melbourne after a 6-0 6-2 win over Bryce Durham.
New Zealand need to beat Kuwait next weekend to advance into the final of their group in a home tie in September against either China or Indonesia.
