An Auckland tow truck driver is angry after something was thrown at his windscreen on his way to a car accident.
Junior Murray, who was on his way to a two-car crash in Birkenhead at about 12.30am on Sunday, had the windscreen of his tow truck smashed by what he thought might be a rock.
He said it was dark and he couldn't see anything, and just heard a bang and a "cracking sound".
The incident happened on Kaipatiki Rd, Glenfield, less than three minutes from his home.
He didn't know how many people were involved so kept on driving to the crash.
Murray thought bored kids might have been the culprits, as it was the start of the school holidays.
He posted photos of his smashed windscreen to the Glenfield Community Facebook page, saying it "could of been lot worse".
