A 3-year-old girl reported missing in Wellington this evening has been found safe and well in bed.
The girl, Libby, was at her home on the northern suburb of Whitby and was feared to have gone missing after playing on a trampoline outside.
Police were called about 4.15pm today but a police spokesman said the girl was found just after 5pm in her bed - a top bunk.
Police and Libby's family were searching nearby properties and police dogs were searching surrounding vegetation.
