A body discovered at Dunedin's Boulder Beach on Monday has been confirmed as 52-year-old Stephen Gourlay of Dunedin, who had been reported missing.

Yesterday, an autopsy confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances to the death.

Mr Gourlay went missing on December 20, when he was dropped off on Kaikorai Valley Rd at 8am.
