A 32-year-old man is in hospital after severing his fingers and part of his hand.
The man was working with a skill saw in Pohara when the accident happened, with the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter called in to get him urgent treatment.
He is now in Wellington's Hutt Hospital, for
