A 6-year-old boy seriously injured when he was hit by a car in Rotorua last night has been transferred to Auckland's Starship Hospital.
The boy was in a critical condition when the ambulance arrived at the scene on Ranolf St about 5.35pm yesterday, a northern ambulance communications spokesman said.
