A pig hunter feared dead has been found alive near Dunedin.
Douglas McGhie failed to return from an expedition on Sunday afternoon, after becoming separated from his group.
Police feared the worst.
Around 60 volunteers and five dog teams searched the area near Mosgiel for the 31-year-old while an aerial search was also launched.
He was found about 9.45pm last night on a Mt Allan forestry track, 5km from where he went missing.
Police say he was cold and wet, but otherwise fine.
