A second Auckland man has been charged with stealing brass plaques from cemetery headstones.
The 46 year-old Taupaki man was arrested today by police investigating the thefts of 13 plaques from Waikumete Cemetery in October.
He will appear in Auckland District Court today to face several intentional damage and theft charges.
A 48 year-old man from New Lynn appeared in court on November 11 charged with receiving stolen goods.
He was bailed to reappear on December 8.
