Two people were taken to Whanganui Hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Marton on Thursday.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash on the intersection of Neumans Line and SH3 just before 4.30pm.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said one person was extricated from one of the vehicles
so St John staff could access them.
St John sent two ambulances to the scene, transporting one person with minor injuries and one other with moderate injuries to Whanganui Hospital.
