Ikitara Rd property owner Adrian Page has changed his plea after one day of evidence was heard in Wanganui District Court.
Page, 44, was re-arraigned yesterday and pleaded guilty to one count of contravention of an abatement notice, two counts of contravention of an interim enforcement order, one count of
contravention of an enforcement order, one of reckless damage of property and one of diversion of water with intent to cause damage or loss.
The charges relate to earthworks, digging and vegetation clearing carried out on Page's property at 87 Ikitara Rd in late 2008-2009.
The landscaping caused storm water and silt from Page's property to be discharged on to neighbouring properties and the road.
Another charge of contravention of an abatement notice was discharged.
