The Wanganui Chronicle marked its move into new premises at 100 Guyton St with an official opening party yesterday evening.
A large gathering of dignitaries, business people and customers were welcomed by general manager Andy Jarden to the smart new offices which have been the Chronicle's home since December.
Wanganui
mayor Annette Main spoke of the importance of the Chronicle and Midweek newspapers to the community before cutting the ribbon, while Chris Jagusch, general manager (regionals) of parent company APN, came down from Auckland to add his support to the Chronicle's celebrations, and John Maihi, kaumatua of Te Runanga o Tupoho, delivered the karakia.
