David Taylor's abstract landscapes have enchanted visitors to a number of galleries around the Whanganui region.
Whanganui Fine Arts Gallery, in Taupo Quay, will be hosting the Halcombe-based artist's Land Cycles exhibition which opens next Friday.
Taylor's mixed media landscapes are a visual feast of beautiful colours but there is
a serious side to the work says the artist.
"I work around the wider region and I see how the coastline is changing and I record those changes in my work."
Taylor is the art teacher at Feilding High School and says he enjoys the balance of teaching and working on his own paintings.
