New Year baby Rangitutia-Matthews was in a hurry to get here early on Sunday morning. He was born in five minutes, at 5.36am and premature at 34 weeks. Mother Tracey Rangitutia watches over Wanganui's New Year baby in his incubator. His vital statistics were: 2.470 kgs birth weight, 50cm in length and big for his 34 weeks, said staff nurse Liz Parkes.
